For example, with glass-filled resins like PPS+GF, failing to properly treat the runners and cavities during the design phase can easily lead to dimensional drift or flash early in production due to abrasion. A well-designed mold determines the efficiency, yield, and production costs during the mass production phase. We have seen countless cases where cheap, poorly designed, or improperly sourced molds caused subsequent quality issues and delivery delays, ultimately resulting in higher costs due to production interruptions, mold repairs, or even remaking the mold."
